(FreePressBeacon.com) – Following the unrelenting Democratic attacks against former President Donald Trump while in office, a Nancy Pelosi-created committee has been blasted for producing a report with “flat out lies.”
Pelosi led two impeachment attempts, both unsuccessful, one based on a phone call while Trump was in office and another attempting to impeach him after leaving the White House.
Moreover, Pelosi spearheaded a special committee that some critics argue was designed to present Trump as inciting violence on January 6, 2021, despite his calls for peaceful protest.
Recently, the committee’s final report has faced serious backlash from House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk for being misleading.
In an interview, Loudermilk indicated that his ongoing investigation into the committee’s activities questions the legitimacy of their findings.
“We do need to take some type of action because this report should never be used as a historical fact, much less used in any legal proceeding. The evidence that they have is so tainted. It is cherry picked. And in some cases, it’s flat out lies,” Loudermilk explained.
Further investigations suggest significant errors in the Democrat-led Select Committee on the January 6 Capitol Attack’s final report, hinting that it could potentially be invalidated due to these issues.
The committee chaired by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) spent millions to summon witnesses who would support accusations against Trump.
It claimed that he spread unfounded claims of electoral fraud and failed to restrain his supporters from rioting.
Contrary to the committee’s assertions, reports indicate the election was influenced by misinformation concerning Hunter Biden’s laptop, which intelligence agencies mistakenly dismissed as Russian disinformation, though it was later validated.
Moreover, the election saw significant influence from external funding, notably from Mark Zuckerberg, which critics argue disproportionately benefited Democrat districts.
In response, some House members are now pushing to declare Pelosi’s committee’s work null and void, including rescinding any subpoenas it issued.
The committee’s creation itself has been criticized for partisanship, as Pelosi selected only members she approved, excluding GOP minority nominees.
Critics argue that the committee manipulated witness testimonies and evidence to solely target Trump by describing the event as an insurrection, an exaggerated claim to prevent Trump’s future political runs.
