DISHONEST: Kamala’s Team SECRETLY Alters Headlines

(FreePressBeacon.com) – In an unashamed move to influence voters, a bombshell report revealed that Kamala Harris’ campaign team has been secretly altering news headlines in Google search results.

Harris’ team is doing so in order to create the impression that she has broad media support.

These modified headlines have all been marked with a “Paid for by Harris for President” banner and appeared without the consent of the involved news organizations.

The deceptive headline campaign involved nearly a dozen publishers, including major outlets like the Guardian, Reuters, CBS News, the Associated Press and PBS. It also impacted smaller entities such as North Dakota’s WDay Radio.

The advertisements are linked to genuine articles from these news sources, but the headlines and descriptive text have been edited to portray the 59-year-old presidential candidate favorably.

For instance, an ad connected to a Guardian article displayed the headline “VP Harris Fights Abortion Bans – Harris Defends Repro Freedom” with an accompanying description stating, “VP Harris is a champion for reproductive freedom and will stop Trump’s abortion bans.”

Another ad, linked to an NPR story, touted, “Harris Will Lower Health Costs,” with the description, “Kamala Harris will lower the cost of high-quality affordable health care.”

Representatives from affected organizations including CNN, USA Today and NPR, which have all recently published positive content about Harris, stated they were not aware that the outlets were involved in Harris’ campaign.

“While we understand why an organization might wish to align itself with the Guardian’s trusted brand, we need to ensure it is being used appropriately and with our permission. We’ll be reaching out to Google for more information about this practice,” a Guardian spokesperson stated.

While this strategy of altering headlines is deceptive, it does not breach Google’s policies.

The altered ads are clearly marked as “sponsored” and are “easily distinguishable from search results.”

This alarming practice was uncovered as Harris has been avoiding the very media she seeks to manipulate.

Since securing the presidential nomination over three weeks ago, the former California attorney general has avoided significant interviews and public media appearances.
