Kamala Picking Up ‘Double Haters’?! (Video)

(FreePressBeacon.com) – The lamestream media is swooning over the Democrat presidential nominee, as CNN data reporter Harry Enten claimed that Kamala Harris is gaining ground among “double haters.”

This group of voters includes those who hold unfavorable views of both Joe Biden and GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

According to recent New York Times/Siena College polls from Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, Harris is now leading Trump by four points in these crucial swing states.

Enten highlighted a shift in sentiment among voters who dislike both Trump and Biden and detailed these changes on CNN’s “News Central” with co-host John Berman.

“All right, so let’s take a look at double haters. As you pointed out, these are folks who dislike Joe Biden as well as Donald Trump and I want you to look at their voting patterns, who they want for president,” Enten explained.

Back in June, 28% of these voters preferred Biden, while 19% favored Trump.

“Now that Kamala Harris is the Democratic nominee, look at her support among them. Look at this, 53% say Kamala Harris, look at that jump, that’s a jump of 25 points. Donald Trump has gone in the other direction down to 11 points,” Enten continued.

This shift has given Harris a significant 42-point advantage over Trump among voters who dislike both Biden and Trump.

Harris was nominated after Biden withdrew from the presidential race on July 21. At that time, national polls showed Biden trailing Trump by 3.1%.

The gap between both widened to 4.2% when third-party candidates like Green Party’s Dr. Jill Stein, Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. were included.

Berman remarked on the unusual nature of such dramatic shifts in polling, “Again, what we have seen in the last few weeks, are these big shifts in polling you don’t normally see, right now at least, but that’s a giant increase in no time.”

Enten added, “It turns out picking a nominee who is actually pretty close to having an even net favorability rating, that is favorable minus unfavorable, is a pretty good thing as opposed to one that has a net negative favorability, as Joe Biden did.”

As of the latest polls from July 30 to August 14, Harris holds a narrow 0.9% lead over Trump nationally, which expands slightly to 1.0% when Stein, Kennedy and West are considered.
