NOW: Trump SHUTS Down Kamala – NO MORE!

(FreePressBeacon.com) – In a decisive new move, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has shut down his Democrat opponent Kamala Harris. Trump has announced that he would not participate in a second debate with her, effectively eliminating the possibility of another direct confrontation between them before Election Day.

On the social media platform Truth Social, Trump expressed his viewpoint with a metaphor.

“When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, ‘I WANT A REMATCH,’” he wrote.

The former president thus suggested his belief that he emerged victorious from Tuesday’s debate despite certain polls indicating otherwise, The Hill notes in a report.

Trump elaborated that significant issues such as inflation and immigration were thoroughly explored during his debate in June with President Biden, as well as during the recent debate with Harris on Tuesday night.

He critiqued Harris for her absence in earlier debates, particularly noting her non-participation in debates hosted by Fox and her refusal to engage with NBC and CBS.

Trump emphatically stated on Truth Social, “KAMALA SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE DURING THE LAST ALMOST FOUR YEAR PERIOD. THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!”

In response to Trump’s refusal, Harris took the opportunity at a rally in North Carolina to express her continued interest in debating Trump again. Addressing her supporters, Harris highlighted the critical importance of another debate.

“I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate, because this election and what are at stake could not be more important,” she said.

The initial debate between Trump and Harris, which occurred on Tuesday, was notably contentious.

Harris, now the Democrat candidate since late July, was assertive in her efforts to provoke Trump.

Following the debate, Harris’s campaign promptly issued a call for a second debate.

Trump, however, showed reluctance, hinting at his disinclination to participate further.

Despite this, Trump had previously agreed to participate in a Fox News debate scheduled for early September and an NBC debate set for late September, contingent on both candidates participating in Tuesday’s debate hosted by ABC News.

Recent polls have sparked discussions about the debate’s impact. A rapid poll conducted by CNN immediately after the debate found that 63 percent of viewers believed Harris had won, as opposed to 37 percent favoring Trump. Further, multiple polls released on Thursday indicated that Harris was expanding her national lead over Trump.

Trump, however, pointed to several social media polls, including one from C-SPAN, in a Wednesday morning interview, saying these showed he performed better than Harris.

Additionally, a poll conducted by Trump’s campaign suggested a slight two-point gain for Trump following the debate, while Harris’s support in battleground states appeared unchanged.
