(FreePressBeacon.com) – In a bombshell revelation, a source close to the Biden family has disclosed that former President Barack Obama has refused to endorse Kamala Harris for the presidency due to doubts about her ability to defeat Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Since Joe Biden’s unexpected withdrawal from the 2024 race and subsequent endorsement of Harris, many high-profile Democrats have supported her. However, Obama has notably withheld his endorsement.
“Obama’s very upset because he knows she can’t win,” the Biden family source stated.
They elaborated on concerns about her capabilities, referencing her role as border czar and controversial comments about migrants’ health insurance.
They also suggested she lacks the expertise to navigate upcoming political challenges. “When you are running for president, there are things you can and can’t say,” they added.
The source indicated that Biden’s poor performance in a recent debate against Trump was part of a broader strategy to push him out of the race, a plan both Biden and Obama reportedly knew.
Yet, the source expressed skepticism about Harris’s potential performance in upcoming debates, particularly regarding sensitive topics.
“Wait until the debate … She can’t debate. She’s going to put her foot in her mouth about Israel, Palestine, Ukraine. She’s going to say something really stupid,” the source foretold.
They also suggested that Obama had a plan to replace Biden with another candidate, possibly Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, and was surprised and displeased by Biden’s immediate endorsement of Harris.
“Obama was shocked,” said the insider, who also described Obama as “furious” that his preferred scenario did not unfold.
Rod Blagojevich, the disgraced former governor of Illinois who has openly criticized Obama, also said that Obama played a crucial role in Biden’s decision to step aside.
He asserted that Biden’s withdrawal “couldn’t have happened without” Obama. He described Obama as orchestrating behind the scenes, comparing his influence to that of a Chicago ward boss operating from the shadows.
Blagojevich, who was impeached and convicted on corruption charges, including attempting to sell Obama’s Senate seat, is now a Trump supporter.
He characterized Obama’s influence over the Democrat Party as dominant and self-serving, a sentiment that aligns with his past criticisms of the former president’s political maneuvers.
