Trump: ‘It Was a Rigged Deal’

DONALD TRUMP

(FreePressBeacon.com) – As expected of an event hosted by the lamestream media, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump stated that he handled himself really well in the debate with Kamala Harris even though it was biased and “a rigged deal.”

Trump criticized the ABC debate moderators for their constant fact-checks and corrections during yesterday night’s event in Philadelphia.

“It was three on one,” Trump said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.” “I thought I did a great job.”

He argued that the debate was unfairly managed. “It was a rigged deal, as I assumed it would be, because when you looked at the fact that they were correcting everything and not correcting with her,” he added.

“It was a three-on-one — that’s OK, I’ve had worse odds before, but never so obvious,” Trump commented about the moderators’ approach.

“They’re dishonest. I think ABC took a big hit last night … They ought to take away their license for the way they did that.”

During the 90-minute debate, moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis corrected Trump four times.

This sparked anger among many Republicans who felt the moderators were not impartial.

Nevertheless, Trump said he remained confident that he had excelled in the debate against Harris, which might be their only one before the November election.

“I’ve been told I’m a good debater,” Trump remarked. “I think it was one of my better debates, maybe my best debate.”

Trump also hinted that Harris was pushing for a second debate because she had not won the first.

“I won the debate … I don’t know if I want to do another debate,” he said. Right after their first debate ended, the Harris campaign called for a second face-off.

Despite Trump’s confident remarks, he often seemed on the defensive as Harris criticized his economic policies, his refusal to acknowledge his loss in the 2020 election and even his performance at his rallies.

For her part, Harris appeared much stronger than Joe Biden did in June, which worried Democrats about a potential landslide win for Trump.

The Democrat candidate managed to steer clear of any major mistakes and handled tricky questions about flip-flopping on several important issues.
