TRUTH: This Is Why Trump Won

(FreePressBeacon.com) – In probably the biggest reason Donald Trump won the 2024 election, the Biden administration is presiding over the largest immigration surge in U.S. history, outpacing previous waves and raising concerns about national security and unchecked illegal immigration.

With illegal immigration responsible for 60% of this surge, conservative leaders are sounding the alarm.

The New York Times reported that immigration under President Biden has surpassed historical peaks from the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Between 2021 and 2023, an average net migration of 2.4 million people entered the U.S. annually, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

By the end of Biden’s term, total net migration is expected to exceed eight million people.

The U.S. population now includes the highest percentage of foreign-born residents—15.2%—in its history.

Key factors contributing to this spike include Biden’s loosening of asylum rules and external factors such as instability in Haiti, Ukraine, and Venezuela.

Meanwhile, Mexican drug cartels have exploited gaps in border security, fueling the surge.

Illegal immigrants constitute 60% of the recent waves, with December 2023 alone witnessing over 302,000 attempted crossings at the southern border—a record for a single month.

Despite these staggering numbers, the current administration remains committed to its more lenient approach.

“Stephen Miller was spot on when he said that the Senate and House should first pass a border security bill through the budget reconciliation process,” commented Sen. Lindsey Graham, referring to one of Donald Trump’s closest aides, cited by The Hill.

As immigration remains a hot-button issue, former President Trump has capitalized on frustrations.

He aims to make immigration reform a cornerstone of his 2024 campaign, with plans for mass deportations and tighter border controls.

Trump’s communications team, however, has yet to comment on the specifics.

Senator Lindsey Graham has underscored the importance of a comprehensive border security bill as a legislative priority.

Proposals are in place to pass such measures through budget reconciliation, reflecting the growing urgency among conservative policymakers to address this crisis at the national level.

“Annual net migration — the number of people coming to the country minus the number leaving — averaged 2.4 million people from 2021 to 2023, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Total net migration during the Biden administration is likely to exceed eight million people,” notes New York Times writer David Leonhardt.

The immigration surge continues to be a defining issue of the Biden presidency, shaping political discourse and policy directions.
