(FreePressBeacon.com) – Before the Dolphins’ game yesterday, NFL star player Tyreek Hill had a run-in with the law right outside the stadium that left him handcuffed and on the ground.
Footage from the scene shows Hill lying face down while police handcuffed him.

The incident ended up with one of the police officers involved being put on leave.
Earlier in the day, the Miami-Dade Police Department started looking into the situation after they stopped 30-year-old Hill over claims he was driving recklessly.
MDPD director Stephanie V. Daniels made a public announcement about the situation, saying, “Following the incident involving Tyreek Hill, I have initiated an Internal Affairs investigation to ensure a thorough review of the matter.”
She added that one of the officers is now on desk duty until they figure out exactly what happened.
Daniels then emphasized that she remained committed to being open and responsible about how her officers act.
Despite the ordeal, Hill played later that day, helping the Dolphins clinch a 20-14 victory over the Jaguars.
He celebrated his 80-yard touchdown by mimicking being handcuffed, a nod to the morning’s events.
After the game, Hill shared that the whole thing took him by surprise and he did not know why it happened.
He had a good game overall, catching seven passes for a total of 130 yards. Dolphins’ defensive lineman Calais Campbell mentioned he was also stopped during the incident.
Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus told NFL Network that the situation was “very upsetting,” stating, “It’s unnecessary. There’s no reason Tyreek should’ve been treated that way.”
